Glad Group’s National Communications Centre (NCC) is a centralised command, control and help desk facility operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to report all issues for clients and coordinate emergency and crisis response from one centralised location in Sydney. The NCC facility has been built to comply with the Australian and New Zealand Standard AS/NZS 2201.2:200 and has been awarded Grade A certification by ASIAL. The NCC Facility was launched in June 2012.
The NCC facility is secure and is managed by an onsite team using state-of-the-art technology to collect, analyse and store data for all Glad Group clients. All reporting is web-based and online. Depending on the circumstances, incidents reported onsite can be updated by the NCC facility using additional information and photographic evidence gathered remotely. The NCC facility team can cater to every Glad Group site under management, including mobile security patrols. Glad Group has partnered with a world class, Australian-based software developer to ensure the National Communications Centre has access to leading edge technology which meets the highest security standards required by large financial institutions and security firms.
The NCC allows Glad Group to further assist customers in coordinating their Business Continuity Plans and has the potential to form an integral part of our clients’ crisis management strategies by providing a centralised command and control communication point for the business in the event of an emergency. We have the ability to rapidly deploy and co-ordinate, security, maintenance and cleaning crews at any given moment on a national level via our dedicated and certified staff and partners. This affords us a centralised communication point to successfully manage any crisis.
